PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
“I was just following orders” does not end the question of moral responsibility.
Following someone else’s order does not remove the moral question: is what you are doing to another person just?
A job title alone does not answer this question. Legal liability, however, depends on the facts, powers and applicable law.
This page explains the scenario in plain language: what happens, why pressure matters, and why someone else’s demand is not your own choice.
Remember your dignity and your right to decide. Do not let fear, shame or promises push you to agree against your will.
You violate my free will — a fundamental principle of the universe in my understanding.
I do not agree with your actions, but I comply with legally binding requirements.
You deny me freedom of choice. My compliance does not mean voluntary consent or approval.
